ABOUT RED CAT
Monique Malan and Mireille Steenekamp are the members of Red Cat Consulting. They are both qualified chartered accountants and through years of relevant experience understand the challenges faced by clients, auditors and other stakeholders. We view ourselves as part of the team.
Monique Malan CA(SA)
Monique completed her training articles at one of the big four audit firms in 1997. She held the position of financial manager at various companies from 1998 to 2004. During 2004 she joined one of the big four audit firms and specialised in regulatory compliance.
In 2008 she joined the management consulting division of the same audit firm as an associated director responsible for managing the outsourcing services delivered to clients.
At the end of 2013 Monique co-founded Red Cat Consulting with Mireille Steenekamp.
Mireille Steenekamp CA(SA)
Mireille completed her training articles at one of the Big Four audit firms in 2009. From there she worked in the management consulting division of the same audit firm specialising in outsources services. Mireille was responsible for outsources financial statement compilation and specialised in the preparation of financial statements using Caseware software.
In 2013 Mireille co-founded Red Cat Consulting with Monique Malan.
Lourens Jonker
Lourens completed his studies in B.Com Financial Accounting and obtained his CIMA qualification in 2014. He has 2 years experience in financial accounting and reporting. Lourens joined Red Cat Consulting in 2017 as a consultant, focusing on financial statement compilation in Caseware.
Lourens is also responsible the company secretarial services and is currently studying towards achieving a Chartered Company Secretary Certificate.
